Sheffield Boxing Centre ABC's first ever dinner/public show on 28/2/07 was a great success, with a packed house at the Grosvenor House Hotel in Sheffield. It was so packed that the hotel sold out of beer, but the punters were well behaved! Guests that night included Paul Silky Jones, former WBO world champion. Herol "Bomber" Graham, the greatest boxer from England to never win a world title. John "Fireball" Fewkes, unbeaten current Central area light welterweight champion. Karl "Bomber" Harris, Hondas 1000cc superbike champion.

The trophy for for the best boxer of the night went to the Golden Belt champion, Niall Hopkins from Sheffield Boxing Centre (pictured with Silky). Bout of the night went to Sam Sheedy S.B.C vs Sean Reynolds of Rawthorpe A.B.C ( it was such a great bout both agreed to a rematch to take place on Rawthorpes show 5th May).
